                              Five states of the South-East geo-political zone in the country - namely Imo, Enugu, Ebonyi, Anambra and Abia along with a Lagos-based lawyer, Mr. Olisa Agbakoba (SAN) have filed a one trillion naira damage claim against the Federal Government for alleged marginalisation of that part of the country and prayed the court for a perpetual order against further discrimination of the zone in near future.The action which was by originating summons and supported by an affidavit of 99 paragraphs as well as a statement is pending before Justice A. R Muhammed at the Federal High Court, Enugu, but with a yet-to-be assigned date for hearing.  The applicants said the damage claims against the 1st respondent, in this case the federal government, is to be shared among the five states of the zone and therefore sought a relief, restraining the federal government, “whether by itself, its agents, servants or privies,
